Try this delicious zinger, a great way to start your day and make it in around 4 minutes!

Carrot, Apple, Ginger Zinger

Better than buttered toast and better for you!

A very wholesome and filling breakfast, as it is packed with protein from the Greek yogurt and heaps of fibre from that comes from the carrots, apples, banana and ginger! Keeping in mind that the ginger is great for the stomach and works as a natural detox agent.

Not everyone has a juicer or blender, now could be a great time to buy them. 100% carrot juice, Greek yogurt, ginger, apple sauce and carrots are all the products are readily available at the supermarkets.

Ingredients

Start with 1/2 cup 100% carrot juice

Add 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce

Stir in 1/2 cup non-fat plain yogurt

Squeeze in about a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice

Grate a small amount of peeled fresh ginger (a teaspoon)

Peal a ripe banana, slice and ad

Half a dozen ice cubes

Place it all into a blender and blend until nice and smooth.
